I believe in fathers. I believe it takes courage to be a good one. I am convinced that the lack of father involvement in our children’s lives is the root of many of the problems in our society. I saw a movie recently that sends a strong message to fathers. The movie is called “Courageous.” When a tragedy strikes close to home, four police officers struggle with their faith and their roles as husbands and fathers – but together they make a decision that will change all of their lives. Pick up this movie or search for it on cable. It’s not your typical Hollywood production, but the message is so good for men and fathers. It will challenge some and invigorate others. It might even change your life.
